Accreditation
In 2009-2010, Annapolis applied for accreditation with the Association of Classical Christian Schools. In December of 2009, based on the strength of its internal documentation, Annapolis was granted provisional accreditation with an official endorsement contingent upon verification by a visiting committee. In May of 2009, Annapolis underwent a formal visit by an accreditation committee and was found to have met and exceeded all requirements for accreditation with the ACCS and the Texas Private School Accreditation Commission. In June of 2009, Annapolis was officially granted a 2 year accredited status and scheduled for a 5 year renewal visit in May of 2012-2013.
In a summary statement of the accrediting committee’s official report to the ACCS Board of Directors, they stated the following about Annapolis:
“The quality of and the commitment to classical Christian education occurring in the classrooms of Annapolis Christian Academy is strongly representative of the highest standards that ACCS wants to promote and see emulated by other classical Christian schools. It is obvious to the accreditation committee that the constituent parents of Annapolis Christian Academy are blessed with the highest quality education for their children. The accreditation committee heartily recommends that Annapolis Christian Academy be granted a 2-year accredited status.”
