Student Life
Annapolis Christian Academy exists to equip students with the wisdom, character, and leadership skills necessary to faithfully serve God and their fellow men. As a Christian school community, we take seriously the Christian mission of bringing God’s truth, hope, light, and love to a world that is lost in sin and darkness. We share joyfully in the grand Christian vision of hope for a renewed world and a better tomorrow. Our mission is to work to make this vision a reality, to realize God’s will on earth as it is in heaven. Our firm belief is that Christian schooling is a vital and essential means of realizing and advancing The Kingdom of God and revitalizing our culture. One of our highest goals is the development of Christian perspectives, attitudes, and habits in all areas of life and thought. We are training future cultural leaders who will impact their world for Christ and his Kingdom.
While academics is one of our most important concerns, it is by no means our exclusive concern. We aim to develop the whole student, mind, body, and spirit within the context of a wider school community. With this in mind, Annapolis offers a wide variety of mission-oriented student activities. Below are just a few of these:
Arts
Athletics
Field Trips
Service Projects
Student-Led Assemblies
Student Council
We recognize that students need to learn about hard work and discipline but we also recognize that all work and no play makes for a very dull school. Therefore we seek to build community and school spirit by spirit days, tailgate parties, pep rallies, seasonal festivals, banquets, and carnivals to keep our students engaged and to remind all of us that academics, while important, is not our only concern.
